Ischa Van Alboom
Profile
Ischa obtained his Master’s degree at Universiteit Gent in Industrial and Organizational psychology in 2021. During his internship at Stad Gent (Ghent’s city governance) Ischa was employed on a project focused at increasing diversity and fostering inclusion among Stad Gent’s employees. During this experience, he developed a profound concern for equal treatment, inclusion and combatting injustice. Consequently, he was very grateful to get the opportunity to start a Phd on the role of attention and perspective-taking in racial disparities in pediatric pain care. For this project he will work in close collaboration with Dr. Ama Kissi, under supervision of Prof Dr. Tine Vervoort and Dimitri Van Ryckeghem.
